Unit 9 Final Project
It is necessary to realize that there are different ways when aiming for an integral health which requires specific skills. Therefore, a person needs to prepare for integral health and to prepare a person needs the following: The first preparation is Loving- kindness in this preparation it necessary to open your heart, this will make certain that you will have the support and collaboration of other individuals. In this preparation I would have to say that the skills and abilities all come from the kindness of others therefore without this practice I wouldn’t be able to communicate with others nor share their ideas. Therefore, each person who contributes in any way towards my happiness and well-being deserves the love and kindness of my gratitude and respect. More importantly we need others for our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Without others we are nothing. The second one are skillful action in this preparation it is important to learn to bring under control unskillful behavior and persuade skillful behavior. This is another important aspect for our health since we need to have self-controlled masters of the characteristics that distinguish each individual it is essential for my personal health if not my efforts attitudes will affect others around me. It is important to understand that real growth lies in the continuing transformation of our skillful action on the other hand, self-discipline and self-control comes from our own inner strength. The third is silence and stillness in this preparation it is imperative to have the three aspects of silence and stillness which are the outer, inner, and innermost. In this last preparation I must say that cultivating a less self-concerned attitude and focusing on service to others and knowing how to deal effectively with any problems would make me a strong individual. On the other hand, when discussing the concept of witnessing mind, it is said that we need to train our minds in order to achieve a witnessing mind. By doing this the individual will witness his own thoughts, feelings, and images. Therefore the individual will reach the freedom of learning to choose rather than have involuntarily mental movements. Furthermore, the concept can be applied in my life in many ways for instance, starting with being aware, present, conscious of the activity, begin to be conscious of my acts, my day-to-day actions, and of everything that surrounds me, then that is when I would reach what it is called witnessing mind. One strategy that I can implement to improve physical wellness would be jogging, to improve psychological wellness would be yoga, and spiritual wellness would be spiritual retreats and meditation. On the other hand, it takes personal responsibility and commitment to achieve a natural health and wellness, therefore the balance combination of physical, psychological, and spiritual condition will lead us to achieve optimum wellness health as well as to assess my progress or lack of progress in a time episode.

Unit 8
I believe that the Loving Kindness exercise, subtle mind, meditation, and visualization exercise are connected; these exercises drive you to calmness, peacefulness, and full of positive feelings. These exercises are like the mental work out exercises that help us maintain our psychological and spiritual balance, and as a result I am becoming more focused, and confident with everything that I do on the rest of the day.

The exercises are very relaxing. Loving-kindness will help to train your mind and to achieve desirable results. Contemplative view is based on the very real possibility of harmonizing one's life with invisible forces. This means that by meditating and maintaining a well physical mind and body through different practice you will live a healthy life.

Unit 6
My experience during this exercise were positive, I have the opportunity to acknowledge the negative thoughts that I was not aware of, and allowed me to focus more positively to change them. I believe that by doing meditation and being aware of negative feelings I would be able to foster greater wellness in those area.

Unit 4
My experience during the Loving Kindness CD was relaxing and at the same time full of positives feelings. I enjoy these positives experiences in the morning before going for work. On the other hand, because I found this exercise so helpful and energetic I would definitely recommend it to others as well.
I believe that mental work out are the exercises that help us maintain our psychological and spiritual balance to be able to overcome stress, fears, diseases, and achieve wellness. On the other hand, some mental workouts that I implement to promote my psychological health are the daily prayers, meditation, physical exercises, and time puzzles.Eric Zurita

Base on my reflections I would rate my Physical, Spiritual, and Psychological well being as an 8 from the scale from 1 to 10. The goal that I have set for my physical, Spiritual, and psychological well being is to be in good physical shape and for this goal I workout at a gym, and jog every morning before going to work. On the other hand, the skills and abilities all come from the kindness of others therefore without this practice I wouldn’t be able to communicate with others nor share their ideas. Hello everyone this has not being a good week for me. I currently have my mother at the hospital after a CVA attack (stroke). I do feel nervous for her condition and at the same time for my classes’ responsibilities that I have not being able to complete due to my situation. On the other hand, about writing I feel more secure and comfortable after taking this class, it has help me tremendously and I just regret that I should started it long time ago.
