My experience during this exercise were positive, I have the opportunity to acknowledge the negative thoughts that I was not aware of, and allowed me to focus more positively to change them. I believe that by doing meditation and being aware of negative feelings I would be able to foster greater wellness in those area.

Hi Eric, I agree...we must stay positive and in order to do that we must acknowledge both our negative and positive thoughts. My doing so, we can address those feelings and use tools such as meditation to change our thought process and make things more positive. This of course takes a lot of practice but the more we do it the easier it becomes and the more we see the effects. I am glad you had a positive experience with this exercise, keep up the good work :)
